WHY LONDON?

London, the City of Seven Hills

Though not as famous as Rome's seven hills, London is often called the "City of Seven Hills," a nod to its rich history and varied topography. Built on elevated ground, London’s hills have played a significant role since Roman times, when they chose high points for their settlement, Londinium.

Notable hills include Parliament Hill, Primrose Hill, and Shooter's Hill, all offering stunning views of the city. St. Paul's Cathedral, perched on Ludgate Hill, stands as a reminder of London's historical landscape, its dome visible from afar, symbolizing the city's resilience.

Today, these hills offer a glimpse into London's past, where ancient geography blends with modern development, creating a unique sense of place.
